Class Descriptions
Beginner Level:
no experience necessary. Learn the basics of Salsa / Mambo, turning technique,
styling, musicality, and shines ( Open Footwork ). Great for those learning
how to dance for the first time or interest in developing their foundations
in the basics of mambo.
Intermediate Level:
some experience recommended. Learn more advanced turning technique, body movement, musicality, intermediate-level shines ( Open Footwork ), while developing leading and following skills.
Advanced Level:
ready for a challenge... if you are a quick learner or have a firm understanding of Salsa / Mambo fundamentals and desire more challenging material, this class might be the class for you.
Afro-Caribbean Movement Class: *For all Levels
appropriate for all levels. Learn to move your body! We focus on Afro-Caribbean Body Movement, latin-funk and isolations.
Spinning Class: *for all Levels
focus on the Spining technique. The Spinning is an essential technique for all kinds of dance.
ChaCha/Boogaloo: *for all Levels
learn ChaCha and Boogaloo. Boogaloo (also spelled "bugalu") originated in New York City among teenage Cubans and Puerto Ricans. The style was a fusion of African, Cubans, Latin, R&B, Mambo and Rock&Roll.
